Hi all.
I have a 22 plate Kona which i love to bits. My better half managed to bump it into a bollard which caused the airbags and seat belts to go off. Ive got all the bits replaced but the car simply wont go into gear. Park and reverse no problem but not drive or reverse.
Fault codes i have were the airbags and parking sensors. Nothing to do with the drive or the battery. Battery is at 67% and the 12v batter is charged fully at 12.8v. The battery does have a drain on it which i also cannot trace. Would there be a short caused after the bump? Like a safety feature?? Special fuse or something?
Very frustrating that i have missed something that must be the issue. Code readers usually indicate at least a direction to start but as i have no wiring diagrams its proving a headache.
Any advice really appreciated.

Is there no one who has had this? I can find some articles but even with my diagnostic unit its talking about a BMS problem which i guess is inside the battery pack?
Also no comments on the 12v battery drain?
