Good morning all
In Dec I purchased 23 plate Kona N line which had approx 5000 on the clock within a week the clutch failed so the car was returned to dealership in Tamworth to resolve. in Jan 24 it was returned to me with all the sorry and “this doesn’t happen “ comments .Yesterday it’s happened again.
Now it’s either poor repair or faulty parts. Has anyone had similar problems cus if it’s the part
( faulty batch) people surely would have the same experience.
Please help Would appreciate it

Hi everyone,

I'm a proud Hyundai driver since more than 5 years but we have found a great problem with our last Hyundai Kona purchasing.

We also purchased an HYUNDAI KONA (H) 5P (23-) like you the last 26/12/2023 and after only 9 months and 12698Km the clutch had a breakdown (the explanation was that it was burned down)

Hyundai Spain told us this is not covered by the warranty because of the use. I have had before 4 cars from different brands (Fiat, Citroën,...) including one Hyundai i10 and we haven't had any problem related with the clutch, taking in account that we have had the same driving behaviour with all of these cars.

It's not fair because this part of the car have not had enough use to be burned out and it's a rare case with a defective clutch they don't want to recognize.

My car purchasing date is quite similar to yours.

Could you please tell us if your car manufacturing date is near 28/04/2023? This is the date my car was built.

Thanks for your information and I hope we can help each other.
