Hi All,

In trying to set up an Ohme Home pro charger with Octupus Intellient Go it asks that i pair the car so it can integrate via API so it can see battery levels etc. it asks for a MyHyundai account in order to do this and this is where all my problems have started because its a lease vehicle. I cant register a MyHyundai account because i am not the owner of the vehicle so they asked me to ask the leasing company to email them just to say its ok to put me as the owner for there records to set the account up. I went through the entire chain of companys involved in the lease and they all said they have never had that request before and 1 of them said no way were they going to say i was the owner!! 3 hours talking to people in various Hyundai departments and nobody understands whats going on. I cant be the only person leasing a vehicle and using Octopus and Ohme. Anybody have a clue as to what i should do.
I have the bluelink app but apparently thats not the same.

Hi Blader1611.

Don't worry the Octopus Ohme link doesn't work yet. 😞

I tried, gave it all the permissions it asked for, despite my better judgement, but it did not work. They promised me they would let me know when Octopus and Ohme had sorted it out. I have heard nothing since.

I just tell Ohme that I want to get to an 80% charge by 0800 hrs and it sets its own timetable and provides power until the car reaches the level it (the car) wants. Octopus charges for the power at the low rate.

I hope that helps.

I have similar as my in a EV salary sacrifice.
I was given a reference so have asked the lease company to contact Hyundai who, with permissions, will let the apps talk even though I am not the owner.

Still, see what it does after the other reply

Thanks OldMike. I have read on several other sites which say the same thing as you.
